Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Tustin Residents Directory collects, how that limited data is handled, and what choices you have. The site is a reference to public rolls and directory collections in Tustin, Orange County, California; it needs no account and does not maintain a resident record about you.

Information You Submit

A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. Our servers keep no copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to respond.

Information Collected Automatically

Our host keeps routine server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review those records in aggregate to maintain the site and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.

How We Use It

We use the limited information described above to run the site, resolve faults, measure traffic, and improve its pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.

External Records and Search Sites

Pages may link to the Tustin City Clerk, Orange County Clerk-Recorder and RecorderWorks, the Assessor, Orange County Superior Court, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Those services have their own privacy policies, which govern what you submit there, including sponsored results supplied by another company.

Who May Receive It

Hosting and support providers process server logs for site operations. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise do not disclose it.

How We Safeguard It

The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes above require. Because there are no accounts, this site holds no password or user profile that could be exposed.

Visitors Under 18

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

California Privacy Choices

California's CCPA/CPRA, Civ. Code §§1798.100 et seq., can provide rights to know or access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive-personal-information use, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment, subject to exceptions such as lawfully available government-record information. Because we retain very little, we generally search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to ask.

California's DROP platform at privacy.ca.gov/drop lets one encrypted profile request deletion or non-sale from more than 500 registered data brokers; broker deletion duties began August 1, 2026. DROP does not erase source public records. Qualifying people can also review the Secretary of State's Safe at Home program under Gov. Code §§6205-6211; a designated address may replace a residence address in many public records, but a legal description can still reveal a parcel location. Public records held by California, Orange County, or Tustin offices remain under those custodians' control.

Policy Changes

We will post revisions to this policy on this page. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
